Tasmim Jamal Joti is a University Research Assistant at the Bio-Imaging Research Lab, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology from the same institution. Her research focuses on applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to biomedical problems, with particular interests in bioinformatics integration, medical image analysis, and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI). Tasmim has contributed to several interdisciplinary projects, including glaucoma detection using Grad-CAM, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) sequence analysis, and brain tumor classification using CNN and transfer learning. She is proficient in Python programming as well as tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Cytoscape, STRING, and Enrichr, and has published works in reputed venues, including Array, Journal of Computer Science and Technology Studies, and submissions to Computational and Structural Biotechnology Reports. Her overarching goal is to bridge AI and life sciences to advance precision diagnostics and healthcare innovation.
